The Maltings College is a 16-19 college that is part of the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust.  The Trust is a growing Multi-Academy Trust; our Executive Principal is a National Leader of Education and the Trinity Teaching School Alliance and White Rose Maths Hub are key Trust initiatives that see us sharing our expertise and supporting the education sector on a local and national scale.

The college joined the Trust in September 2016 and has excellent facilities and big ambitions for students. We offer a unique, personalised experience for our young people in an environment that reflects that of the working one with professional facilities, up to date teaching and learning resources and fully equipped workshops.

Under the new leadership team the college has made significant improvements, recognised in the recent Ofsted report (July 2016).  Due to its success, and to meet demand, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Deputy Chef who will:-

  • To support the Senior Chef to provide a full catering service to schools who buy into the catering service.
  • To line manage team members
  • To allocate work and duties across the kitchen team to ensure the kitchen is effectively resourced and quality food is available.
  • Ensure high standards of food hygiene and health and safety throughout the kitchen areas.

You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining an ambitious and forward-thinking college that is part of a growing Academy Trust.
