Sowerby Bridge has a new leadership team in place, led by Charlie Johnson the new Principal. We are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor, would will primarily with students who have a place in the ASD base. You will work closely with teaching staff, complimenting their work and enhancing the development, education and achievement of students. The ASD base is an enhanced transition for students that, without this provision would struggle to access a mainstream education.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for learning activities for groups of students, and establish mentoring relationships, acting as a role model and setting high expectations across the Academy. Experience of teaching in relevant learning environments is essential for this role.
