From your start date you can join either the Teachers Pension Scheme or the West Yorkshire Pension Scheme. Contributions are made based on your salary scale.
Support staff enjoy generous annual leave, with leave starting at 26 days plus Bank Holidays, and our leave increases upon five years’ service.
We are pleased to offer staff two options to support them with the costs of childcare.
- Workplace Nursery Scheme:
As a MAT, we offer a workplace nursery scheme in partnership with the Fountain Springs Day Nursery, Halifax. This could potentially save hundreds of pounds per month through our childcare salary sacrifice scheme. Fountain Springs Day Nursery is an Ofsted ‘good’ rated nursery within the grounds of The Maltings College, Halifax with exceptional facilities, term-time only places and opening hours that support the working patterns of our staff. Informal visits are welcome, and can be arranged by contacting the nursery directly. Full details regarding the scheme are provided to interested staff upon formal appointment.
- Childcare Voucher Scheme:
We support parental choice and in addition to our Workplace Nursery Scheme, our staff can also opt to sign up to the Childcare Voucher Scheme. This is also a salary sacrifice scheme that allows parents to make substantial costs of childcare by sacrificing part your salary, in exchange for vouchers, which can then be used with any registered childcare provider.
As part of our benefits package, our staff can opt to join our health scheme with Westfield Health. This offers reduced cost health cover, for staff members and their family members.
