37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days.
Scale 5 (points 12-17)
Actual starting salary range: £21,774 – £23,862 per annum
Trinity Academy Grammar joined the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust in October 2018. Working closely with outstanding leaders from across the trust, the academy is characterised by its high aspirations and ambitions. Targeted and effective support systems have been implemented in order to create an environment where our students experience an outstanding education with no limit to what they can achieve.
GCSE results are a validation of the work we have undertaken to transform the academy and the results mean the academy is now recognised as one of the most improved schools in the country. As a result, this is a truly exciting time for the academy. We are determined to build on our initial success, increasing student numbers and constantly striving to serve our students better.
We are now seeking an Attendance and Admissions Officer to join our pastoral team. As Attendance and Admissions Officer, you will:
- Maintain accurate attendance records across the academy, and report on attendance as required and contribute to strategies that improve academy attendance.
- Manage a robust, accurate admissions process
- Deal with enquiries and queries from parents
- Liaise with staff, students, parents and multi-agency partners to ensure that attendance and admissions processes are accurate and fit for purpose
What we need:
- 5 or more GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- Evidence of experience in a similar office role or administering pastoral issues
- Experience of using databases, word processing and a range of other IT packages.
- Well developed time management, planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective team player
