The Role

Fixed term contract for a two year period

The ethos of Trinity Multi Academy Trust is simple; to make a positive difference to the lives of as many young people as possible. The Academy has a relentless focus on improvement.

Trinity MAT, based in Halifax, is the home of White Rose Maths and West Yorkshire Maths Hub.  Our work has national acclaim and materials produced by the team are used by schools across the country.  You may have even used them yourself!

All of these fantastic and exciting initiatives require the expertise and commitment of dedicated staff and an exciting vacancy has arisen within the trust for an Early Years Maths Specialist. You will support the development and implementation of the White Rose Maths Early Years EEF trial, develop and deliver EYFS materials and CPD packages, evaluate the impact of these and plan for their improvement.

You will have knowledge and experience of teaching Maths in a primary provision (specifically early years) and be committed to improving student outcomes within the subject.  You will lead by example and have the drive and enthusiasm to develop the teaching practice of your colleagues. Due to the nature of the role, you must be willing to travel to deliver training.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in the West Yorkshire Maths Hub and wider Trinity Multi-Academy Trust and would suit an experienced practitioner looking for a new challenge.

You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining the flagship academy that sets the standards for the schools that are part of an ambitious and forward-thinking Academy Trust.

Interested candidates for this role and other potential roles, are invited to attend our Trinity Multi Academy Trust recruitment evening, being held at Trinity Academy Halifax on Wednesday 29 January 2020 (from 5pm). If you would like to register your interest please visit www.jointrinity.co.uk.

Trinity Multi-Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are made subject to an enhanced DBS check. We are an equal opportunities employer and want our staff profile to reflect the community we serve.
