As a trust we are excited to have been chosen by the Department for Education as their approved sponsor to open a new secondary school to support the increasing population of Barnsley.  In September 2021 Trinity Academy St Edward’s will open its doors to a founding cohort of Year 7 students from across the town. 

We are now looking for a Finance / General Administration Assistant to join our team.  This is a unique and varied role that will allow the successful candidate to be involved and develop skills in both finance and general admin. You will support the Finance Manager in monitoring budgets, managing invoices and purchase ordering. You will also work as part of the wider admin team to offer an efficient and high-quality administration and reception service to the academy.   

The admin team will be pivotal to the success of the academy, providing a service that will support the entire staff team in creating and developing a fantastic learning environment where our community will come together daily to learn, work and enjoy amazing experiences.   

 What we need? 

  • 4 or more GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English. 
  • Experience within a similar office / administrative role
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong professional communication skills
  • Team player
