Trinity Multi Academy Trust is proud to have transformed the life chances of thousands of pupils across its existing academies, and our core values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility run through all aspects of academy life. Our secondary schools consistently achieve academic results which place them in the top 10% of highest performing schools in the country and receive national and international recognition for the quality of their provision.
In September 2021 Trinity Academy Leeds opened its doors to a founding cohort of 240 Year 7 students from across the city. We are now seeking Subject Co-ordinator Music to join our founding staff team. This is an incredibly exciting appointment for us. As a school that champions the arts, through our curriculum and co-curricular offer, this is a brilliant opportunity for a talented and passionate leader and practitioner to develop a love and appreciation of music in the young people of east Leeds. This role would involve leading the Music strand of our wider arts curriculum under the guidance and leadership of our Curriculum Leader for Performing Arts. Currently all our students study an hour of Music per week and this is further supported by our weekly Involve clubs, such as Orchestra and Choir and our free lunchtime musical tuition. We also run an exciting musical theatre group, LAPA, which runs weekly after the school day. Our founding cohort have a keen love of music and performance and we are looking for a strong candidate to work as part of the founding Performing Arts faculty of the school to shape this provision to be world class.
This is an exciting time to join a motivated, friendly and mission aligned founding team in a growing school community with many opportunities to develop in the future.
