Trinity Academy Bradford
Trinity Academy Bradford (formerly Queensbury Academy) joined Trinity Multi-Academy Trust in 2021. The academy name change signified a brand-new start within our thriving trust. In just one year, the academy achieved the title of ‘most improved school in the Bradford area 2022′.
Trinity Academy Carlton Mill
Trinity Academy Carlton Mill is an alternative provision setting operating alongside Trinity Academy Grammar. Designed to offer specialised, timely intervention and support for young people accessing Carlton Mill, it forms a core part of our commitment to nurturing individual needs through a bespoke, high-expectation curriculum.
Trinity Academy Cathedral
In 2015, the former Cathedral School in Wakefield was failing both financially and educationally. Trinity reached out to the school with help and support in 2016, and in 2017, Cathedral School joined the trust as Cathedral Academy. The school is now named Trinity Academy Cathedral to be in line with other trust schools. Shortly after joining Trinity, Cathedral progressed from failure to the TES 2019 Secondary School of the Year and the academy was awarded Ofsted Outstanding in all areas in 2022. Under the new Ofsted framework, Trinity Academy Cathedral achieved a Strong rating across all areas.
Trinity Academy Grammar
Sowerby Bridge High School became Trinity Academy Sowerby Bridge in September 2017, heralding a new and exciting journey for the school and its local community. In September 2021, the academy took the bold decision to draw on its heritage to become Trinity Academy Grammar. In 2016, Ofsted graded the school as Inadequate, and it ranked in the lowest 15% of all UK schools. Within the first two years of joining Trinity, the academy rapidly rose to the top 1% of the most improved schools in the country.
Trinity Academy Halifax
Trinity Academy Halifax opened its doors in 2010 and is the flagship academy of Trinity Multi-Academy Trust. Just three years after opening, an Ofsted inspection in 2013 declared Trinity Academy Halifax to be Outstanding in all areas – student achievement, quality of teaching, safety and behaviour, leadership, management and overall effectiveness. In 2023, the academy secured Ofsted Outstanding in all areas once again, upholding its rating for over a decade.
Trinity Academy Leeds
Trinity Academy Leeds opened in September 2021 with a state-of-the-art new building. Students benefit from an ambitious and inspirational curriculum underpinned by a strong focus on Literacy and Maths. Trinity Academy Leeds is a school that champions the Arts, as all students have the opportunity to study Dance, Drama and Music from the very start of their educational journey.
Trinity Academy St Edward's
Trinity Academy St Edward’s opened in September 2021. The academy offers the Barnsley community a broad, balanced curriculum that focuses on STEM subjects, setting the highest aspirations and delivering outstanding outcomes for all students. Just two years after opening, the academy was awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark in 2023.
