Attendance
Attendance starts with belonging.
Being in school matters
At Trinity, we believe a child can only benefit from an excellent education if they are in school to receive it.
Strong attendance gives children and young people the best chance to benefit from everything school has to offer — not only lessons, but friendships, routines, support and experiences beyond the classroom.
Strong attendance is a shared priority across Trinity, built on close relationships with families and an understanding of each child’s circumstances.
Schools work to spot difficulties early and put the right support in place, bringing together attendance leads, pastoral teams, specialist colleagues and external partners where needed.
Inclusion is central to that approach. When pupils feel safe, valued and that they belong, they are more likely to attend and engage.
