Wellbeing

People do their best when they feel their best.

Our commitment

Wellbeing, built into how we work.

At Trinity, colleague wellbeing is part of creating schools and workplaces where people feel supported, valued and able to do their best work.

Looking after our people

We are a signatory to the Education Staff Wellbeing Charter, but we want our commitment to go further. Our own Trinity Employee Wellbeing Charter sets out what colleagues can expect from us, bringing together practical support, professional development and commitments shaped around the needs of our people.

It also includes additional support that reflects what it means to be part of Trinity, building on the national charter and the wider opportunities available across our Trust.

We review our approach regularly to make sure it remains meaningful, relevant and responsive to our colleagues.

Supporting wellbeing means recognising that people may need help at different points in their working and personal lives.

Alongside the support within our schools and teams, our Employee Assistance Programme provides a 24/7 confidential advice, information and counselling service whenever it is needed.

Edurio Trust Value Excellence Award

Trinity was named one of the top 10 trusts in England in Edurio’s 2025 National Trust Value Excellence Award. The award is based directly on staff feedback and recognises trusts where colleagues feel most confident that being part of their Trust is beneficial.
